Aimed at beginners, this floral design workshop will go over the basics of designing a small vase arrangement using local, seasonal flowers - many of which you can grow in your own garden! This includes but is not limited to: zinnias, echinacea, dahlias, yarrow, sedum, cosmos, mountain mint, rudbeckia, and more. Take home your arrangement to admire for days to come, along with our guide to flower care & workshop notes (for future reference).

As with gardening, designing with flowers taps into your creative spirit and can be meditative and grounding. While we will touch on growing and using local flowers & native plants, the class will focus on methods of design. Optional treats and drinks available to purchase at the bar before, during, or after class. We will begin promptly at 5pm, so make sure to come early to grab your seat!
